#iorestoacasa in Umbria day 2: take dog on walk, during which she covers herself in shit (likely not canine); wash down dog with fountain water and a towel carried expressly for this purpose; go home and bathe dog, collar, leash, and myself; clean up wet, dog-hair-covered shower and bathroom floor; do a load of shitty laundry; read everything new about coronavirus; get depressed; obsessively check email for response from notaio about the pending finalization of my house purchase; binge-watch The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel; do 6 Guida e Vai quizzes (driver's license); pack a box of books; hang out on the balcony and stare at the empty street; stream classic soul and Motown and dance a little; go back out on the balcony and give the malocchio to two clearly unrelated guys who get into a car together; make coffee and wish for a shot of Jameson's to go with it; observe the sink full of dirty dishes, then walk away; return to checking email and reading depressing/ignorant/informative posts about coronavirus.
